What are student teachers worth?

With all the surrounding schools laying off huge numbers of teachers (Hayward: 300, San Francisco: 450, etc), I am guessing about as much as a piece of wood.

Ex journalists and social workers count, but I can’t afford to pay for all the current and former people treated with psychotropic medications. That would be too expensive!
