Amanda Knox Blog Wars Update for the Week
This week I posted several posts on the Amanda Knox trial, convicted with her boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito of murdering her room mate Meredith Kercher, which you can read in English or Italian. The real murderer, drifter Rudy Guede from the Ivory Coast, who had been convicted of several breaking and enterings over the prior month, has already been convicted based on his DNA inside the victim, his bloody handprints all over the room, etc. etc.
My posts caused people to freak out on several web sites dedicated to the trial like True Justice for Meredith Kercher (TJMK) and Perugia Murder File (PMF). I actually read these thinking they might have interesting information last year but the TJMK kind of creeped me out with these pictures of the victim all over the place, check it out. Turns out these people have nothing to do with the victim, they just have developed a morbid fascination with the case, and they spend hours online talking about the case and trashing people, cyberstalking, and going around the internet spreading all kinds of misinformation. They stalk people’s kids, write letters to people’s employers (which led to former FBI agent Steve Moore getting fired, sorry guys, someone already tried that with me), count the number of shrubs in the yards of the family of the accused, etc etc.
A “self made internet phenomenon” who is a teenager asked me to do a guest post on the case. The PMF folks then started ridiculing him (even though he is a minor) and telling him to read the Massei Report (the 400+ document from the trial which I am reading now in the original and which in my opinion is a great road map for a railroad job). He claims he “changed his mind” which caused them to start praising him (do thoughts of pedophilic grooming come to mind?). He then went on the “trail” of Bruce Fisher (a pen name for a book called “Injustice in Perugia“– can you blame him after how they treated my sister?) who has written about these hate related Amanda Knox sites here and there attempts to libel Jimmie Wales as founding Wikipedia for the sole purpose of having sex with young brunettes here (BTW psychiatrist talking here this is an example of the psychological mechanism of PROJECTION where you attribute your own impulses that are unacceptable to you to others).
The teen blogger who said that I was harrassing him (untrue) then had the brilliant insight that since both my and “Bruce Fisher’s” ip addresses came from Sunnyvale CA that we must be the same person! And that I actually do not exist!
Hello!
Did you check where the headquarters of Yahoo! are located?
He then went on to call me nutcase, crackpot, etc.
Oh, and the PMF found something I wrote online about my grief relating to my mother dying at age 4 in an attempt to make fun of me, saying I had “issues”.
That’s a really nice touch, guys.

You might enjoy guilter.blogspot.com. We’ve been monitoring the various stupidities of these sites. It has not been updated because a long bath was needed after the last visit to PMF, but still has some good info.
Looks like they nixed your site somehow, sorry. Litigation threats? Calunnia? Freedom of speech? Nothing new.
Sorry Doug, put the wrong URL in my name. Should work now! Give it a shot and lemme know. Or just copy in guilter.blogspot.com in your browser.
For someone coming into this with no prior knowledge of the case I have to say that after reading this blog post I am bewildered.
This is GREAT!!! In fact, it was so good I couldn’t resist sharing in my own little blog. So are you a psychiatrist? It sounded like you were…if not I need to change this in my blog! Anyway, thanks for shouting out about this. I think the ability to be able to be anonymous has led to a lot of weird stuff! And this stuff needs to be exploited! Let’s ask John Douglas!
Thanks again, Michelle Moore
Hi Doug,
I wouldn’t spend any time with the “teen blogger.” He stirs things up just to drive traffic to his site. I just wanted to let you know that my name is actually Bruce Fisher. With all the ridiculous information floating around the internet I’m not surprised that you figured it was a pen name. Don’t let Peg Ganong’s hate spewing clan stress you out. That’s all they want so don’t give them the satisfaction.
Keep up the good work. When someone suggests that you should be quiet, I suggest getting louder, but that’s just me.
PS I AGREE WITH BRUCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
))))
no mess w meeeee!
Hi Steve,
They will be trolling to find information on you, take my word!
@Michelle yes I am a psychiatrist, and I am no stranger to blog wars, as you will soon see!
@Bruce Fisher
When I say blog wars, that means I am not afraid of a fight.
I have already had Harry Rag/The Machine threaten to go to my employer, but it this has already been tried.

Doug you definitely put your finger on one odd aspect of this case. I was explaining to my sister about the case and showed her PMF. She said ‘Are these people the victim’s family or friends?’
I said no, none of them ever knew or met the victim.
She said ‘that’s just not normal.’

[...] Just in: During writing my expose, a woman (@SeattleSuze) followed me. moments later she re-tweeted a post by Doug… take a looksie at this image….. and than follow the link after…. Point? “They stalk people’s kids, wright letters…”
Wrighting letters is a traditional pastime for conspiracy theorists, I guess.

The grand-poo-ba of guilters, Prosecutor Magnini is getting some blow-back from The Committee to Protect Journalists who have penned a letter to the President of Italy: (google Frank Sfarzo cpj.com)
I actually just did an entire blog on the case myself … perhaps some of you would be interested in reading it. I do my best to be unbiased, as I’m really not sure of anyone’s guilt aside from Guede’s.
The passions and insanity unleashed by this case are incredible. Imagine what it must have been like in Europe back in the 1600s, when the “witch” hysteria was at its most hysterical; now imagine it all focused on one case with the Internet and cable television.
Yes, such a shame people are passionate about Meredith Kercher instead of murderers. Meredith was a beacon of goodness. Respectful, civil, and wise. A star in a dark sky.
I am pro-Victim. Pro-Innocent. Pro-Meredith.
@Carrie did you know her? I am sorry I don’t mean to be disrespectful but I get a lot of comments going on about the qualities of the victim from people in places like Alabama and I find it a little creepy that people gush about what a wonderful person she was who obviously never met here. I deleted about 15 comments from someone who alternated those comments with hate comments, each one with a new identity but coming from the same computer. That is really sick. If my daughter was killed and someone did that I would be disgusted.
What does pro-innocent mean?
That Italy is the most corrupt country in western europe is inarguable. I am really sick and tired of my government not standing up for Americans persecuted abroad by evil governments. I think we should boycot Italy and if that isn’t enough, blockade them with the U. S. navy.
I don’t know if anyone caught 48 hours Mysteries on Saturday night (It’s available free on the web). That was also a case where a prosecutor had manufactured a case. An innocent man spent 18 years of his life in prison — on death row. When he was finally retried, a very famous prosecutor got the case, realized what had happened and refused to go forward. The second prosecutor was angry about how it had been handled, calling her predecessor’s work “a criminal justice nightmare”. She said one of the worst things about it was dealing with the victims’ family who had been convinced for almost twenty years that the man was guilty. They were also victims of a conspiracy. Meredith’s supporters will never believe that Amanda Knox is not guilty. That’s understandable. It doesn’t make them correct. This isn’t about passions. It’s about evidence.
Since the TJMK will not allow me to post there, I just wanted to offer this correction to what “The Machine” wrote in comments to a post Peter Quinnell made about me there.
Doug Bremner said,
“AK was interrogated for 43 straight hours by 12 different investigators who used “tag team” techniques that are not used in most civilized countries. That is called coercion.”
My real quote was she was interrogated “over” 43 hours. That is a big difference from straight hours. Cut and paste it into google and see if you can find it anywhere else. If you need more evidence that The Machine / Harry Rag is spreading misinformation on the internet, let me know.
You are not being honest. You said that if your own daughter was killed you would not want people “who had never met her” to read about her online, view her lovely BEFORE DEATH photos, and commiserate with you about her loss? (presumably because they also sent angry comments about her killer along with their paens for your daughter? Get real)
People who love Meredith Kercher may not have met her IRL but have read books about her life, we have honored what her father has said about her (no, she was not perfect, but honorable and kind, loving, and we have grown to like her or love her. Did you ever meet George Washington, so now you can have no respect for him. So if your daughter gets murdered, do you want people to say,
” Well, you know, Doug, maybe your daughter wasn’t so nice or so pure, maybe she was not so great, and maybe this pretty girl who the judges and police think killed your daughter, maybe this girl is nicer than your daughter was, and you should love her just in case she didn’t kill your daughter. You should forgive her and not feel angry with her. But hey, we’re just trying to be neutral, Doug, we’re your pals, but we must stay OBJECTIVE, isn’t that the way we should be, you’re wrong to take it so personally, Doug, you aren’t being objective about guilt and innocence because you’re grieving, but hey, maybe your daughter wasn’t so nice or good after all.”
You are being dishonest about how you’d react if your daughter were murdered, and what remarks would bring comfort to you. As a psychoanalyst you should have a little understanding of what the Kerchers feel, and I am on their side, not Amanda’s.
I am pro-innocence, which disbars Amanda.
Ashley, Patrik was sucked into this case because the detectives mistakenly believed a piece of wool was the hair of a black. On the afternoon before the all nighter, they say Amanda meeting with Patrik and incorrectly assumed he was the black man. It was their decision to coerce a false statement out of Amanda that precipitated this injustice as they simply substituted the real killer, Guede, for Patrik. Initially, I would attribute this to human error as they mistakenly believed the bloody footprints were Rafaelle’s. However, they didn’t reset the investigation’s parameters. They “gun-decked” forensic data which is now coming back to haunt them, if the leaks are accurate. When all the dust settles, I hope Magnini’s actions will be subject to review, especially why he allowed cutting Guede’s sentence in half, given the fact that Guede’s statement came just as the original trial was concluding. Such a review would go a long way toward showing it’s not the Italian system is corrupt, but certain individuals.
I am sorry but I did not understand what is going on that you discuss in your blog, but it seems important. Can you clarify it or explain it in a more detailed post in your blog or a post to my blog (I do have two posts on Amanda Knox( or an e-mail to me?
Thanks,
David M. Ginsberg

Where do you people get your information, do you pull it out of your ass. Why don’t you provide references to your made up facts on the case. At least TJMK and PMF provide documentation. Stupid Americans.
Wow, you really have people like this in your comment section?
All I can say is that I’m so sorry.
Have you ever seen South Park? The character “Kyle” always ends up saying “REALLY?” to the dim wits (usually Cartman). Everytime I read some of the “stuff” all I can think of is “Really?”. Wow…
Pasquale, TJMK only publishes what fits Peter’s party line. For example, that bread knife that was blown out of the water, is still his murder weapon. The well contaminated bra strap is admissable. I suggest that you read the Hellman Report and be a proud Italian that you have judges with the guts and integrity to undo the web of deceit and incompetence that was created by police, CSI, and the prosecuting judge.
