Looking forward to more posts about THE public plan. We don’t need a wimpy, mere “option” that will likely embarrass the medical profession. We need a sustainable, tax-supported, simplified, single-payer plan.
Join the 21st century, Mr Obama. And drag the Democratic “leadership” along with you. A majority of Americans — and about half the doctors — are already in favor of a single-payer system. Nothing less will really rectify our failed, 70-year experiment with market-based health care.

Thanks Henry for joining our little group. Times are interesting for us political activist doctors! I personally think that single payer is the way to go, but wonder if pushing that too much would derail movement in the right direction. Should be interesting to see what happens in the next six months!
